Sport is not your thing . That's how you decided that you were not part of the athletes, that to be squeezed, sweat and suffer, it was not your cup of tea. It's not a problem, everyone does what they want, after all. Except that ... you knew that there is something called the "beginner's advantage ", and who could give you the motivation to put you there? Because YES, starting the sport when you've never done it (or a long time ago), it has huge benefits , and you'll be more successful (yes yes) than most fitness addicts who practice regularly. How?

Here are 4 absolutely great physical consequences that you will get if you move from your couch to the gym!



1. The weight loss will be (almost) automatic

Weight loss, especially when you start and you have (a little or a lot) fat to lose, it's 100% mechanical : it's a difference between the calories you ingest - by the diet and drinks - and the calories you spend  - and that obviously includes physical activity in general, but also your basic metabolism, the calories your body uses to just keep you alive.

If you are at a balance (that is, your weight is stable, whatever it is), and you suddenly start to spend more calories through a sports activity, a caloric deficit will be created, and your body will seek to compensate for the lack of energy by tapping into your reserves.
It works if: you have a high enough protein intake (history that you were not going to tap into your muscles to find the protein needed to create .. muscle, yes, the body does some curious stuff sometimes), you do not do not make big excesses (type day or evening at 4000 calories) often, you do enough sport to create a real deficit (300kcal minimum, 1h of muscu, 30min of race, etc.)

EVIDENCE , start the sport activity AND a food rebalancing at the same time allows to obtain much better results. But if you want to test the effectiveness of the sport before throwing yourself headlong, promised you will still have results. 🙂




2. You will not need to do "big" efforts on bodybuilding to gain weight

A huge advantage of putting yourself in sports is the morale boost that you will have from the beginning: because your muscle mass is rather low (or poorly entered), virtually all the efforts you will make in bodybuilding will have a visible result. No need to think about a program too strict (and it's good, at first), not even need to hurt itself by overloading its movements: simple exercises with light to medium weights will suffice! You will gain in muscular definition, will have a more toned body, a visual more "sporty": in short, that good for not much in terms of efforts, in the end.

Keep in mind to do short series (10reps x 3 or 4 series, for example), with enough weight to be tired, but not exhausted. Do sessions of at least 45min of muscu, to maximize your results, and do not try to force for more than 1:15, the body is tired and it does not really serve much, especially if you start. The idea is to do effective sports, not "as much as possible". 🙂

3. Your results will be visible VERY quickly 

Going from 0 to regular physical effort, whatever it is, is very good for the body: apart from weight loss and muscle gain, you will have more energy, you will sleep better, you will look better because of better blood circulation, and you will have less pain to the joints if this is the case beforehand. In short, turning the machine has only advantages, as long as it is done intelligently.
But obviously, the aesthetic results will be there too : you will refine (and what you lose weight on the scale or not, see the trick below),

Tip : forget the balance, the weight is a pretty naze indicator , especially if you do muscu more (since the created muscle weighs its weight too). Prefer measurements with a measuring tape (which will show that you "shrink", even if you do not lose weight), and especially before / after photos: we tend not to see the changes of his own body, because that we look at it too often. But by having a visual comparison, you will see that what you are doing is for something!

4. You can gain muscle and lose fat AT THE SAME TIME

And believe me, it's something that all addicts to fitness and diet will envy you : because your muscle mass is very low, and you have (probably) fat to lose, the body goes to first try to use the resources available to deal with the changes.
Then ... it gets harder, since it is very tiring for the body to try to do two things at once: it builds or destroys, rarely both. That's why high-level athletes alternate between phases where they eat too much calories and train harder to build muscle (and that in the vast majority of cases involves taking muscle AND a little fat) and the phases in which they eat in deficit(We say "cut", or "dry") and try to maintain a training (without pushing their limits) to lose the accumulated fat mass and reveal the muscles built in the previous phase. Being muscular and dry .. It's a job.
